2 whole eggs
2 cups yoghurt
4 cups flour
2 tbsp baking powder
3 tbsp rum (or brandy)
4 tbsp sugar
raisins (optional)
oil - for frying
icing sugar
Mix eggs with sugr, add yoghurt, rum and raisins (if you wish).
Add flour and baking powder. Batter has to be little thicker than the one for pancakes.
Drop rounded teasponfuls of batter in hot oil and fry 3-4 at a time, until they become golden, turning them all the time.
Drain on paper towl and sprinkle with icing sugar.
